The Cabela’s flag ship store in Alaska was designed around serving its rural Alaska clients by providing a local presence to the Alaska’s wilderness gateway city. Cabela’s also required its new store to support shorting its mail order and on-line deliveries times, this was accomplished by tripling the size of its prototypical ware house space from 11,000 SF to a tree story racking storage system in 39,934 SF.
KPB and its team of engineers worked closely with is main offices in Nebraska coordinating all the regional wildlife elements to be incorporated into its signature grand mall space. the KPB team provided full design services, worked wit the planning and zoning department at the Municipality of Anchorage to support compliance with “Big Box“ ordinances and full Construction Phase Support services.
Our design team worked closely with the Cabela’s construction management team and the general contractor to deliver the project on time and under budget.
