The Rustic Goat is a popular destination located in the Turnagain neighborhood of West Anchorage. The location encourages residents to walk, bike or even cross country ski from the near by coastal trail. The building is a modern mix of rustic materials consisting of horizontal cedar, corrugated metal, polished concrete and exposed steel. The open fire oven is viewed from the bar where patrons can view the activity of the cook line. The two levels of the interior are visually connected between the bar located on level one and the dining area located on level two. The design of the space creates a social vibe with high energy as well as comfort.
