This company’s value of focus on doing great work for our clients is still how we lead today. It’s not about awards or our own ego, it’s about the people we serve in the community, and we are lucky enough to be able to do this as a career.

President, Managing Principal, Architect

With more than four decades of architectural experience, Mike Prozeralik brings deep technical leadership and design expertise, contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects across the country. Mike leads the firms Department of Defense work and other project types including healthcare, commercial and multi-family residential. He takes great pride in seeing a client’s satisfaction through KPB’s project execution, and as an owner of KPB, finds it rewarding to work with his staff in further developing their creativity and skill.

Originally from Upstate New York, it didn’t take long for Mike to call the Great Land home. What began as a weeklong fly-fishing trip on the Kenai Peninsula in 1990 quickly turned into a three-week adventure—and much like the rainbow trout he was chasing, Mike was hooked. Less than a year after that fateful trip, he made the move to Alaska. Today, he spends much of his free time at his cabin in Cooper Landing with his wife, their two sons, and their growing families.

KPB believes strongly in giving back to the community, and Mike leads by example. He has served as a board member for Bean’s Café and as Chairman of the Anchorage Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) Board of Directors in 2015. Through these roles and partnerships with many other local nonprofits, Mike remains committed to helping make Anchorage a great place to live, work, and thrive.
